SWAMI PARAMANANDA

Srimad Swami Paramananda in course of travelling over India in request of spiritual master, with his mind free from worldly attachment, without any resources, helpless, travelled to various places, villages and cities, churches, temples, many sacred place, hills and caves and felt with all his heart the picture of deteriorating condition of India society. He observed exploitation and atrocities of selfish persons of the society and that innumerable poor and illiterate persons were victims of their exploitation and atrocities. Pained with their heart-rending affliction, he gave up instantly all pursuits of happiness in his life.

As a result a great seed of doing welfare for people was planted in his heart by the will of Eternity. With this object of serving mankind as the living God he reached Banagram after few years he reached at Raina, an interior and unknown village under postal zone of Raina in the district of Burdwan, West Bengal, inspired and directed by Eternity. Here he found some noble, generous and unselfish person who realized the pain that was burning in his heart. And finally with the co-operation, enthusiastic support and modest help from well-wishers of different villages and towns this institution was established in the name Tapaban Ashram in 1986.
